Participation Guidelines
Participants are encouraged to leverage the following resources and tools to maximize their productivity:
- Make use of online resources such as open-source libraries, starter templates, AI chatbots, StackOverflow, technical documentation, and all available tools and programming languages.
- Backend as a Service (BaaS) platforms like Firebase, Supabase, Appwrite, PocketBase, and similar are allowed.
- Cloud services (both free and paid) can be used for deployment purposes.
- All free resources and tools available on the internet can be utilized.
- Paid tools are not allowed unless they are being used solely for deployment purposes (e.g., renting a server or using a paid deployment service).
Unsaid Rules
In addition to the official guidelines, the following unsaid rules are expected to be followed to maintain a professional and collaborative hackathon environment:
- Respect the ideas, time, and contributions of other participants.
- Ensure all work is original or appropriately credited when using external resources.
- Maintain ethical practices throughout the event.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with teammates and mentors.
- Keep your workspace and digital setup organized to avoid unnecessary delays.
- Adhere to the hackathon schedule and meet deadlines for submissions.
